Earth Science Project

For a random project, the Earth Science students built a home that could withstand/take advantage of different climates. This home was built to last in the desert. With a reflective roof (including a working solar panel), west-facing windows to take advantage of afternoon sunlight, insulation, two floors, and a plan to be built underground, this design was extremely impressive. The students were not given a rubric or much guidance, as I wanted the creativity to truly come out. It certainly worked well. [note: there are a few photos below, so let them scroll through]
